The City of Port Arthur is a proud sponsor of the Southeast Texas Fair Housing Conference. Each year\, we join area cities to attract prestigious speakers and trainers to provide housing resources to the citizens of Port Arthur.&nbsp\; This year the conference will provide information and resources covering topics such as Fair Housing Rights\, Avoiding Foreclosure\, Housing Finance\, Homebuyer Counseling\, Steps to Build and Maintain Good Credit\, Energy Cost Reductions in the Home\, and Tenant/Landlord Rights.&nbsp\; Vendors will include representatives from local and regional organizations who have housing options and assistance designed to meet Southeast Texas needs and desires.&nbsp\; Lunch will also be provided free of cost to the first 100 participants. Free Credit Reports on site and wonderful door prizes!!
