&bull\; Foster Grandparents have served over 600\,000 hours to special children since 1989.


&bull\; Foster Grandparents have received honors from the American Correctional Association\, Public/Private Ventures\, JCPenney Golden Rule Awards\, Texas Senate\, etc.


&bull\; South East Texas Foster Grandparent Program cosponsors the national demonstration grant\, Experience Corps - Port Arthur\, a Seniors for Schools initiative.&nbsp\; South East Texas Foster Grandparent Program also cosponsors VISTA projects in Hardin\, Jefferson\, and Orange Counties.


This event will benefit the South East Texas Grandparent Program.&nbsp\; It also benefits The Golden Triangle Chef's Association by providing scholarships for people to train to be a chef.
