DESCRIPTION:
Finance Park is a hands on financial education simulation that allows the students to &ldquo\;live a month in the life of an adult&rdquo\; students will be assigned one of six life situation cards\, they are told if they are married or single\, have kids or not\, the ages of their kids and given a yearly salary. From this they must choose housing to accommodate their families\, choose a vehicle\, clothing allowances\, buy enough groceries to feed everyone and well you get the picture! It&rsquo\;s a reality check like no other!

Volunteers will be working with groups of six students to help them make choices that fall within their budgets. Come watch as the students realize how important obtaining an education is and how it will relate to future earnings potential. Volunteers will need to be on-site from 8\;15 am (a short volunteer orientation) until 1\;30 pm. Lunch will be provided each day. Students arrive and begin the simulation at 9\;00 am and depart the Park at 1\;30 pm.
