DESCRIPTION:The Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce and its Team City Committee 
will be hosting Chamber University\; Cash Reigns Supreme\, a half-day 
course designed for small business owners that teaches the importance of
financial statements and how they can be used to make better business 
decision.

The seminar will be held on Tuesday\, November 30\, 2010\, from 7\;30 to 
10\;30 a.m.\, at the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center located at 1800 
Lakeshore Drive in Port Arthur. There is no cost in attending.
Cash Reigns Supreme provides practical training and covers budgets\, 
balance sheets\, profit and loss statements and cash flow statements\, and
gives business owners the ability to understand this information at a 
hands-on level. The seminar is open to businesses of any size or industry. No financial background is necessary.

Cash Reigns Supreme is conducted by financial experts of the National Development Council (NDC)\, a private\, not-for-profit organization that specializes in economic development finance and in obtaining financing for small- and medium-sized business. This seminar is sponsored in part by the Chamber\, Small Business Development Center of Lamar State College-Port Arthur\, and the Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation.
