DESCRIPTION:4th Annual Healthy Family Festival\, Saturday\, August 27\, 2016 at the Robert “Bob” Bowers Civic Center. 
 
The 3rd Annual Healthy Family Festival held this past May was a huge success. We had over 1\,250 patrons attend the event in which over 125 vendors participated. Relationships with many of our vendors and community partners were solidified and strengthened. The Center was also represented by over 75 of its employees and several of our Board members who donated their time. With the help of everyone who participated we were able to raise over $300\,000.00 including in-kind donations for the Center. This high-profile event generated a great deal of media and public attention including the following sources\;

The festival was free to the public. There was food\, games\, door prizes\, give-a-ways\, events on stage and helpful information from both GCHC and from the industry partners. The event was made possible by the generous donations from local businesses. The funds raised during the festival allowed us to offset the operating costs of providing services to the uninsured/underinsured patients living in and around our service area.
